Ayurveda Woman

A sacred space for women to align with nature

Ayurveda Woman was created out of a desire to offer women ways to realign with nature, natural cycles, restore health and come home to themselves. We particularly see a need to support women leading up to and move through midlife and menopause better educated and equipped for the hormonal and life changes that this period presents.

For many women, the symptoms associated with menopause come as a surprise and few have the awareness that the habits and practices cultivated much earlier will impact how smooth this transition will be. Therefore, along with women ages 40-60, we also support younger women to cultivate balanced living through Ayurvedic diet and lifestyle.

What is Ayurveda?

Ayurveda is reportedly the oldest health care system in the world, dating back at least 5,000 years. Ayurveda is translated to “science of life” and offers tools and systems for how to live harmoniously in the human bodymind complex.

Each person is viewed and treated as a unique individual with tendencies for natural giftedness and imbalances. Ayurveda’s holistic approach is focused on prevention, natural therapies, and restoration of a person’s innate health, with equal emphasis on body, mind, and spirit.

We live within a culture where working hard and “pushing through” are being rewarded, and women’s self-care and overall health are often compromised leading to minor and major imbalances.

At Ayurveda Woman we care deeply about women’s well-being and wish to promote and cultivate a different way – one where we as women feel empowered because of our feminine qualities and have the courage to support each other in a slower pace, that allows for better self-care.

I bow to the Divinity within you and I’m honored to support you on your health & healing journey
