A therapy in which medicinal oil is retained by a dough dam over a specific area to nourish, increase circulation, and heal. See description below for specific types of bastis.

Kati Basti: For low back pain and disorders of the lumbosacral region, lumbar spondylosis, sciatica, spinal problems, etc. The dough dam is placed over the lumbar or thoracic region of the back.

Uro Basti: Similar to Kati Basti except the warm oils are retained over the region of the heart and Anahata Chakra to assist in opening and strengthening the physical & emotional center.

Adrenal Basti: Adrenal fatigue happens as a response to chronic stress and can deplete the body causing hormonal imbalance, depression, and degenerative disease. This treatment rejuvenates exhausted adrenals and provides nourishment to the body.

60-minute treatment. All bastis begin with 30 min of abhyanga).

Pre Treatment:
To get the most of your body therapies, avoid having caffeine 4-6 hours prior to your appointment, this will support your ability to relax. For comfort, wear loose fitting clothing.

Post Treatment:
To allow the effectiveness of Ayurvedic treatments to penetrate deeply, it is best take it easy for a few hours after. Stay hydrated after your treatment to support further detoxification. Because the treatments work on subtle levels, they leave you permeable to impressions, be mindful, and avoid loud music, tv, engaging in drama, etc.

It’s important to note that with our current booking App, you’re not able to reschedule or cancel your appointment date nor time online. We understand that appointments may need to be changed or canceled. Due to the individualized nature of Ayurvedic treatments, we ask that you reschedule or cancel your appointment within at least 24-hours for Therapeutic Body Treatments including Abhyanga, Sirodhara and External Bastis; and within 6-hours for Consultations including Ayurvedic and Nutritional Consultations. 

If you do not cancel in advance, you will be charged 50% of your service price for missing your appointment with the form of payment you used when booking the appointment. If we can fill your spot with a client on our wait list we will not charge you.

No-Show Policy

We understand that appointments may need to be changed or canceled within the 24-hour notice. If you no-show without notice on the day of your appointment we will charge you 100% of your booked service price.

Late Policy

If you are 10 or more minutes late, we may ask you to reschedule your appointment so it will not affect our other clients. If we are unable to take you at the time you arrive, you will be charged for 50% of the service that you missed.
