BERRIES & GREENS BREAKFAST SMOOTHIE, Servings 1
I N G R E D I E N T S :
- 2 cups filtered water
- 1-1/2 cups mixed berries, fresh or frozen
- 1/4 cup pineapple or mango, fresh or frozen
- 1 cup greens like lettuce, kale, chard, spinach
- 1/2-inch piece ginger root, peeled
- 1 tablespoon raisins or 2 dried figs (for iron)
- 1 tablespoon Green Powder (my fave Dragon’s Den ‘Original Green Drink’)
- 1/2 teaspoon vanilla extract
- 1/2 teaspoon cinnamon
- pinch black pepper and Himalayan Salt
- a few mint leaves
Place all ingredients in high-powered blender like Vita-Mix, and blend until smooth.
